How to get here
Airports
Rio de Janeiro has two airports: Santos Dumont Airport, which is closer to FGV EPGE, and Tom Jobim International Airport (often referred to as Galeão Airport).
Santos Dumont Airport: “This airport operates flights to other destinations in the state of Rio de Janeiro and regional flights to Brazil’s biggest cities. It is located on the edge of downtown, close to the city’s main hotels and tourist attractions. Outside the airport, there are taxi stands and many buses that go to multiple places in Rio. It takes around 15 minutes to get to EPGE. Route: Avenida General Justo, Avenida Infante Dom Henrique, Avenida Rui Barbosa, Avenida Oswaldo Cruz and then Praia de Botafogo.
Alternatively, you can take a “Real” executive coach, route 2018 (Airport to Alvorada via the South Side shore and bus station). These coaches have comfortable seats and air conditioning and they operate between 5:40 am to 10:35 pm, spaced 20 minutes apart. This coach route goes between the International Airport and Santos Dumont Airport. There is a bus stop outside Fundação Getulio Vargas.

Rio de Janeiro International Airport: Located 13 miles from downtown Rio de Janeiro, this airport is served by several highways, including Linha Vermelha, Linha Amarela and Avenida Brasil, facilitating trips to many parts of the city, whether on its South Side, North Side or West Side. The urban transport system offers taxis and special bus routes, which link the airport to many destinations, including Santos Dumont Airport.
There are several 24/7 taxi stands in the arrival areas of the passenger terminals. The trip to FGV takes around 40 minutes. Route: Estrada do Galeão, Linha Vermelha, Avenida Francisco Bicalho, Avenida Presidente Vargas, Santa Bárbara Tunnel, Rua Pinheiro Machado, Praia de Botafogo.

The subway is the fastest and easiest way to get to FGV EPGE. Flamengo Station has exits on Avenida Paulo VI and Rua Marquês de Abrantes. You can download maps of the survey system and the area around Flamengo Station below.

Buses
To get to FGV, you should use one of the buses that goes along Praia de Botafogo. There are two bus routes that go from downtown to Praia de Botafogo: Troncal 5 (Lapa) and 107 (Central do Brasil).

Car
Suggested route: Leave downtown and take Avenida Presidente Vargas. Go through Santa Bárbara Tunnel, continue along Rua Pinheiro Machado and finally take Praia de Botafogo. This route takes approximately 14 minutes. The school does not have a parking lot but there are some commercial parking lots nearby.
