Pablo holds a PhD in Energy and Economics from University College London (UK), a Master's in Renewable Energy from the University of Oldenburg (Germany) and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the National Polytechnic School (Ecuador). He is fluent in German, English, Portuguese and Spanish. He works at the Innovation and Technology Center of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in Bonn, Germany and leads the IRENA Long-Term Energy Scenario Network, a platform aimed at promoting exchange in the use and development of energy scenarios based on in models.
