He holds a Masters in Mathematics from the National Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics Association (1998) and a PhD in Mathematics from the National Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics Association (2004). He is currently a professor at Getulio Vargas Foundation, working mainly on the following topics: discrete differential geometry, axes of symmetry of figures, complex networks, game theory and agent-based models.
