Master's degree (2002) and Doctorate (2009) in Sociology by the Brazilian Society of Instruction - SBI / IUPERJ. She was Visiting Scholar for a year at Columbia University, NY (2005-2006). She worked as an Associate Researcher at the Joaquim Venâncio / FIOCRUZ Polytechnic School of Health in the Laboratory of Work and Professional Education in Health. She completed post-doctoral training at the Institute of Research and Urban and Regional Planning / IPPUR / UFRJ with a scholarship from FAPERJ (2009- 2011). She is currently a Professor at FGV EBAPE. Work in the following areas: work, education, migration, gender, mobility, income inequalities and health training.
