Fernando de Holanda Barbosa Filho

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1998), a Master’s degree in Economics from the Graduate School of Economics (2001), and a PhD in Economics from New York University (2005). He is currently a full researcher at the Brazilian Institute of Economics and a professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas. He has experience in Economics, with an emphasis on Growth, Business Fluctuations, and Economic Planning, working mainly on the following topics: economic growth, productivity, unemployment, labor market, informality, and education.
