The EPGE - Brazilian School of Economics and Finance held on June 24, the commencement ceremony for Doctoral and Master in Economics and Professional Master in Economics and Finance programs. The ceremony was held at the Cultural Center of FGV and was attended by students, family, friends and teachers.
The invited speaker was Mr. Ernane Galvêas, Minister of Finance from 1980 to 1985 and president of the Central Bank from 1968 to 1974 and from 1979 to 1980. The guest also received a tribute delivered by the Vice President of FGV Sergio Franklin Quintella with the following words "To the Minister Ernane Galvêas, Tribute from Getulio Vargas Foundation to more than 70 years of dedication and services to Brazil."
The event also was attended by the President of FGV, Professor Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, Vice President, Sergio Franklin Quintella, Director of EPGE, Professor Rubens Penha Cysne, the Deputy Director of Education and Research, Professor Humberto Moreira, and the Coordinator of the Professional Master's Program and Director of the Center for Regulation and Infrastructure, Professor Joísa Campanher Dutra.
