FGV EPGE Promotes International Seminar about Higher Education

On September 17th, FGV EPGE held the International Seminar on Higher Education called "Higher Education: Perspectives and International Experiences", organized in partnership with the University of Bath, UK. During the seminar, several speakers addressed topics such as social impact, regulation, higher education quality, demography, barriers and global ranking, among others.

The opening of the seminar was conducted by the Director of EPGE Professor Rubens Penha Cysne, by Professor Ian Tonks of Bath University, the Vice-Director of Andifes, Anísio Brasileiro de Freitas Dourado and Professor of FGV, Lindolpho de Carvalho Dias. There were present throughout the event, the Director of CAPES, Marcio de Castro Silva Filho, the University of Bath teachers Rajani Naidoo, Margaret Greenwood and Jurgen Enders, Professors Marcelo Neri and Cecilia Machado from FGV EPGE, Raquel Guimarães from UFPR, the Board Member of Technical Assessment of the INEP, Renato Augusto Santos and CEO of Eleva Education, Maria Eduarda Falcão. The Directors from Instituto Vale, Sandoval Carneiro, from IETS, Simon Schwartzman and from FGV, Antonio Freitas were also present as the tables moderators.

The audience was made up of teachers, educators, students and researchers.
