Gabriel Richter, third-term undergraduate student from FGV EPGE economics course, won the second place in the Young Entrepreneurs Award, a competition fostered by Infoglobo with support from FGV. The award encourages innovative ideas in the fields of sustainability, culture, education, urban mobility, services, technology or social responsibility that may bring about benefits for society.
Among the selection criteria, the judges considered the benefits for the social or cultural development of the communities, ethics and accountability, the degree of innovation and creativity, the possibilities of growing and of sustainability for the project, and, finally, technical and economic feasibility.
Gabriel entered the competition with the mobile app “O Formigueiro” (The Anthill) - a crowdfunding platform developed together with Pedro Hermann aimed at educational initiatives. Green Point and BubbleApp were the other winning projects.
