EPGE undergraduate student goes to Oxford through Santander’s TOP UK program

Eric Vieira, anUndergraduate studentfrom the Graduate School of Economics (EPGE), participated in the TOP UK Program, held at Oxford University and offered by Banco Santander. The program aims toprovide the opportunity for cultural exchange, resulting in the internationalization of the institution, and empowering Brazilian students and professors withEnglish language skills. Eric spent three weeks taking English classes and learning a little more about the culture of the United Kingdom. In a program with 40 students from ten Brazilian institutions of higher education, Eric was the only student of Economics, which allowed him to briefly give other participants a bit of his knowledge in areas such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Finance. Eric described the experience as unique and important to his academic and professional formation. The student, who is in the eighth semester at FGV EPGE, plans to attend the Professional Master’s Program in Finance and Business Economics at EPGE or attend a Graduate Program at the London School of Economics (LSE), due to the successful experience of the Santander program.
