FGV EPGE´s PhD Students, Leticia Faria de Carvalho Nunes and Valdemar Pinho Neto, were awarded with the FAPERJ sandwich scholarship, whose goal is to foster educational cooperative networks and research between institutions and foreign PhD students enrolled in Graduate Programs. Providing mobility and integration, this aid allows students to complete their training within the period of 1 year of study at a higher education institution abroad.
Valdemar, who has his project Conditional Cash Transfer Project and Political Behavior in Brazil guided by Professor Cecilia Machado, will study at Princeton University from June 2016 to May 2017. Leticia, with her project Practice Location of Physicians: The Discrete Choice Model Approach, under the guidance of Professor Francisco Junqueira Moreira da Costa, will complement her training at Northwestern University from March 2016 to March 2017.
Both students attended the Academic Master's program at FGV EPGE and Leticia also got her undergraduated degree in Economics from the School.
