FGV does not offer accommodation, but the International Office can assist students in finding housing.

Exchange students at FGV EPGE have no tuition or additional fees. In addition, they will receive a student ID that allows them to have a discount on cinemas, theaters, concerts, etc.

On average, housing, food and transportation costs are around USD 1,000.00 per month.

FGV is located in the south of the city, in Praia de Botafogo, which is on the border between the Flamengo and Botafogo neighborhoods. We have a subway station a 5-minute walk away and a shopping center a 10-minute walk away. Around the University, we have a wide range of commerce, including restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes, etc.

At FGV, we have has a cafeteria and a restaurant, bicycle parking, medical service, library and art gallery.

Each semester, the International Office schedules an orientation session with exchange students.

This session happens one to two weeks before the start of classes, to provide important information, answer questions and bring students and buddies together.

FGV does not have a Language School; therefore, FGV EPGE does not offer a Portuguese language course to its foreign students. We can recommend an outsourced language school for students interested in improving their proficiency. Please contact the International Office for more information.
