How to Get Here
Airports Rio de Janeiro is served by two airports: Santos Dumont Airport, which is the closest to FGV EPGE, and the Rio de Janeiro International Airport (Tom Jobim/Galeão).
Santos Dumont Airport (SDU) This airport primarily handles shuttle flights between Rio and São Paulo, as well as regional flights within the state and to major Brazilian capitals. Its central location offers quick access to hotels and tourist attractions. Nearby, there are taxi services and several bus lines connecting to various parts of the city. The trip to FGV EPGE takes approximately 15 minutes. Suggested route: Avenida General Justo → Avenida Infante Dom Henrique → Avenida Rui Barbosa → Avenida Oswaldo Cruz → Praia de Botafogo.
An alternative is to take the executive bus operated by Real company, Line 2018 – Airport to Alvorada (via Zona Sul coastline and Bus Station).
These buses are comfortable, air-conditioned, and run from 5:40 a.m. to 10:35 p.m., with 20-minute intervals.
Line 2018 connects the international airport to Santos Dumont and stops right in front of Fundação Getulio Vargas.

Rio de Janeiro/Galeão – Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport (GIG)
Located just 20 km from downtown Rio, Galeão is accessible via expressways such as Linha Vermelha, Linha Amarela, and Avenida Brasil, which allow quick travel to the South, North, and West zones of the city.
Public transportation includes taxis and special bus lines connecting Galeão to different parts of the city, including the other airport.
Several taxi services operate 24/7, with stands located at the arrivals area of each terminal.
The trip to FGV EPGE takes around 40 minutes.
Suggested route: Estrada do Galeão → Linha Vermelha → Avenida Francisco Bicalho → Avenida Presidente Vargas → Túnel Santa Bárbara → Rua Pinheiro Machado → Praia de Botafogo.

Subway (Metrô) The quickest and easiest way to reach FGV EPGE is by metro.
The Flamengo Station has exits at Avenida Paulo VI and Rua Marquês de Abrantes.

Bus To reach FGV by bus, look for routes that pass along Praia de Botafogo.
Buses coming from downtown Rio in the direction of Botafogo include: Troncal 5 (Lapa) and 107 (Central do Brasil).

By Car Suggested route: rom downtown Rio, take Avenida Presidente Vargas, go through Túnel Santa Bárbara, then continue on Rua Pinheiro Machado and finally arrive at Praia de Botafogo.
The trip takes approximately 14 minutes.
FGV EPGE does not offer on-site parking, but there are private parking facilities nearby.
