The event

The Graduate School of Economics of Getulio Vargas Foundation (EPGE/FGV) - the leading Economics Department in Brazil - and VALE - the leading global Mining company - are the organizers of this conference. The idea is to join senior economists - academics, business economists, and policy-makers - to discuss the past, the present, and the future of the Chinese economy, as well as relevant lessons applicable to other developing nations, including Brazil. The conference covers many aspects of the Chinese and the global economy, including: long-term growth, international trade, wealth creation and destruction, and commodity prices.
