Airports

Rio de Janeiro City has two airports, Santos Dumont Airport being the closest one to the FGV/EPGE, with domestic flights service only. The International Airport of Rio de Janeiro Galeão/Antônio Carlos Jobim receives also international flights.

Galeão/Tom Jobim> There is the option of booking an executive car at booths inside the airport landing terminal or ask for a taxi convenant with the airport service just off the landing. The journey takes around 33 minutes. The value of the taxi is approximately R$ 46.00 for flag 1 and R$ 55.00 for flag 2. Directions: Galeão Road, Linha Vermelha,  Brazil Avenue, Perimetral, Infante Dom Henrique Avenue, Rui Barbosa Avenue, Oswaldo Cruz Avenue and then Botafogo.

Subway

The fastest and easiest alternative to get to FGV/EPGE is the subway. The station Flamengo has entries both at Paul VI Avenue and Marquês de Abrantes Street.  Below you can download the maps of the subway lines and station on the outskirts of Flamengo.

Bus

To reach FGV headquarters it´s possible to use bus lines that pass through Praia de Botafogo. Buses leaving the center toward to beach are: 172 and 179 (Rio Branco Avenue) and 175 (Marechal Floriano Avenue).

Car

Leaving the downtown, take the Presidente Vargas Avenue, Rio Branco Avenue and Infante Dom Henrique Avenue, finally Praia de Botafogo. The journey takes approximately 14 minutes. The school has no parking, but there are some rotating parking lots nearby.


Bus Station Novo Rio

Taxi> There are two options, take an executive car inside de bus station or take a common taxi (the yellow one) convenant with the terminal, just off the landing. The route is approximately 16 minutes. The value of the taxi is approximately R$ 22.00 for flag 1 and R$ 25.00 for flag 2. Directions: Francisco Bicalho Avenue; Santo Cristo Street, Santa Barbara Tunnel, Laranjeiras Street, Soares Cabral Street; Viaduct Jardel Filho, Marquês de Abrantes Street and then Botafogo Beach.

Bus> Leaving the terminal, take the bus 2011 (towards Leme) in front of the Bus Station Novo Rio. The route will take approximately 30 minutes. Directions: Rodrigues Alves Avenue, Venezuela Avenue, Mauá Square, Rio Branco Avenue, Augusto Severo Avenue, Beira Mar Avenue, Flamengo Beach, Oswaldo Cruz Avenue and then Botafogo Beach.
