Caio Almeida has worked as quantitative analyst at Banco Pactual and as a risk manager at JGP Hedge fund, two leading investment companies located in Rio, and is currently the scientific director of the Brazilian Society of Finance. Author of a number of papers published in international refereed journals like the Journal of Fixed Income, and the International Journal of Theoretical and Applied Finance, has recently spent two years in the Department of Mathematics at Stanford University as a post doctorate scholar.
