The Event

In the context of its 50th anniversary, the Graduate School of Economics of Getulio Vargas Foundation invites to the conference Advances in Macroeconomics, covering important recent advances in macroeconomics. The themes are central to both policy makers and academia, covering financial modeling of friction and its implications on economic police, the effects of fiscal expansion in central and emerging economies and the problem of optimal taxation with asymmetric information. Will be further addressed welfare cost of inflation and evidence of price rigidity based on micro data and its implication on the effects of monetary policy.
